FIELD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am REALLY excited to see the play Henry V. I enjoy reading Shakespeare's art of writing stories or plays. Referring to Simone's blog post about Shakespeare being sexist I did not really see it when we read "Romeo and Juliet", but probably in his time people might have said that women are not as equal as men. People should think that with out man and women there would be anyone, period.

Any way I hope the trip is super fun.
(if you want to give your thoughts on the trip, you can post them here)

  1. I'm excited that we will be seeing an actual well-known play at the New Victory theater. Usually the stuff that we see there is a little strange.

  3. Hopefully this will be an exciting play but I'm pretty sure it will get confusing with all the Shakespearian english. Good thing Mr.Gallo went over it in class!

  4. Yeah, I think that I might get a little confused with the Shakespearian english. I'm also very excited that we are going to go to McDonald's, but I think my mom isn't going to let me buy the food there. She's going to make me bring my lunch. I wish I would eat McDonald's, it's so not far.

  5. I'm really looking forward to watching the show tomorrow, and yes, I think I'm going to be really confused with the Shakespearean language. I'm really looking forward to my chicken nuggets, and the scene full of Shakespeare's famous insults that Mr. Gallo was telling us about

  6. I wouldn't be too concerned with the Shakespearean English. As long as you understand the plot of Henry V, which we discussed at great length today, you shouldn't have too difficult of a time following the story. Just focus on the actors' body language and the way that they use their voices to show emotion. I really think that everyone will enjoy the trip (hopefully NOT just because of lunch at McDonald's!)
